Private Medical Charter Flights
Available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, our medically equipped aircraft and medical team are available for non-critical medical transfers via a private medical chartered flight. Our aircraft is a Bombardier Learjet 60 that can comfortably fit 2 patients on 2 stretchers with 2 medical staff. Our aircraft always contains lifesaving equipment, however depending on the patient’s condition, a paramedic and critical care nurse may be the delegated medical crew. Our costs are extremely competitive because we are not a typical air ambulance with an intensive care set up.
When the patient’s condition is more critical and a specialist Doctor may be required, Southern Cross Assist have partnered with an extensive network of air ambulance providers who can undertake this repatriation, whilst we oversee all aspects of the mission.
Our highly skilled, specialised flight co-ordinators in conjunction with our medical director will help you ascertain which type of transfer would be the most appropriate for the patient.
